In the interactive installation «Neural Fiction», visitors view their image in an audiovisual videotriptych. They find themselves in a fascinating world, the viewing of which seems like a psychedelic, out-of-body experience. At times clearly recognizable as an independent body, one’s own image dissolves in the next moment into the surroundings and merges with them.

«Neural Fiction» is an invitation to an unconscious and playful exploration of identity, self-perception and reality. A virtual dissolution of the boundary between one’s own body and its surroundingscreates moments of contemplation. The view through different external perspectives creates a new quality of body awareness and sensitivity. An immersive journey into a constructed reality, in which an alienated and hypnotizing perspective creates experiences of wordless reflection.
